This is where we stayed in Valdez for Tracy’s 50th Birthday celebration.  She and Lee had traveled down to Valdez on one of their days off and picked out from among the choices available.  This is actually a military campground, but they allow non-military to stay as well.  We had electric on site, and there was central water and dump station.  The sites were very large, so large in fact that our friends, Jo & Ben, who were traveling with their truck camper, stayed on our site with us instead of getting their own.  There was nice natural screening in between sites, so it didn’t feel like the usual AK parking lot CG.  It was a very short drive into the town of Valdez.
