A Day in Disney

Our third week here in the Sunshine State included an amazing day in Walt Disney World. Bill and I left fairly early and headed to my sisters in Clermont. She and her boyfriend, Rodney, work for the most famous mouse, and they had guest passes to share with us.

We spent our day in Epcot, and we saw all of it. We didn’t waste a minute! We saw and did it all! Soaring and Space Ship Earth are probably my favorites on the Future Earth side, and I can’t actually pick a favorite country – love them all!

Shannon had coupons for our lunch at Coral Seas – and it was delicious! We were entertained by the fish swimming by in the huge aquarium as we ate.

My Shrimp and Grits were so good!

In Norway, we learned about the Norse Goddess our granddaughter is going to be named after. Freya.

Our day in Disney was a great time, even more special spending it with Shannon & Rodney! Thanks again for an awesome day!

  1. Epcot has always held a close place in our years, as Diana’s dad was part of the construction crew back in the early 80’s. Such a fun place. Looks like you had a great time, Kelly!

    1. That’s so cool about Diana’s Dad! I would have loved to see it go from empty land to what it is today! I remember the first time I went to Epcot in 1989 – I hadn’t seen anything like it!

  2. Kelly, sounds like a perfect day. One of our favorite places. We can’t wait to go back next year. We love everything Disney. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

  3. Disney is one of our favorite places, and after looking at your pictures we need to go there again.

  4. We have never been to either Disney Land or Disney World. Hard to believe I know but we spent most of our vacations with the kids going on horse camping trips or fishing. Maybe someday……

    1. I had never heard of her until Michelle announced the name, so it was interesting to see her there!

    1. Tell Bill he has to go and take the grandkids! That will change his mind! It’s an awesome trip!
